Cybersecurity and Threat Intelligence

Cybersecurity remains a critical concern for defense sectors worldwide. Hackathons focusing on developing tools for threat detection, incident response, and secure communications are highly valued. For instance, the "Digital Defenders Cybersecurity Masterclass and Capture the Flag (CTF) Competition 2023" emphasized real-world applications in web application security, network security, cryptography, and forensics .

Autonomous Systems and Robotics

The development of autonomous systems, including drones and unmanned ground vehicles, is a priority in modern defense strategies. Hackathons have focused on creating autonomous microdrones, FPV-controlled drones, and systems for first-person view control, aiming to reduce human casualties in conflict zones .

AI-Driven Tactical Communications

Artificial Intelligence is being integrated into military communications to enhance real-time situational awareness and autonomous decision-making. Hackathons are exploring AI applications in adaptive signal processing, multi-agent coordination for network optimization, and radar-assisted target tracking .

AntrenamentVRtir

Virtual shooting training uses simulators and augmented or virtual reality technologies to reproduce shooting conditions, allowing users to perfect their accuracy, and weapon handling.

RH Team

Drone-based system that automatically detects foreign objects (FOD) on airport runways, using YOLOv8s and ByteTrack for real-time identification and DBSCAN for duplicate removal.
